Sorì Italia at Cibus with testimonial Franco Pepe and host Massimiliano Ossini
About 60,000 visitors and more than 3,000 brands are expected to arrive from all over the world for the annual appointment at Cibus in Parma, a landmark event for Made in Italy agribusiness, scheduled from May 7 to 10. Sorì Italia, a historic dairy company from Campania, will welcome customers, guests and visitors to a stand made entirely of natural materials, in which it will offer a selection of its products: from Mozzarella di Bufala Dop to Burrata, with a special focus on Fior di Latte Appennino campano, produced with milk from pastures from the heights of the Matese, an uncontaminated area crossed by sources of mineral water and irreplaceable riches for the air and subsoil. Cibus will be an opportunity to present its new 200-gram format, intended for home use. This product of excellence, born from the collaboration between Sorì Italia and Franco Pepe, finally enters the channels of large-scale retail trade, so even cooking enthusiasts will be able to buy it. “We are happy to announce the debut in GDO of Fior di Latte Appennino Campano selected by Franco Pepe, the perfect combination of Campania's dairy tradition and culinary innovation,” said Antonello Sorrentino, Ceo of Sorì. At the Sorì Italia stand, it will also be possible to taste the iconic pizza of artisan Franco Pepe, already the best pizza maker in the world: the famous “Margherita Sbagliata.” The appointment is for May 7, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., at Hall 02, Stand B048. Franco Pepe has announced that, for the occasion, alongside his Signature pizza, he will present a new creation. Which one? So far it has only leaked out that it will be made with a base of Fior di Latte Appennino from Campania; we will have to wait until May 7 to find out more and to taste it. On the same day, the Caiazzo master will reserve for Sorì Stand guests and all Cibus visitors a masterclass in which he will tell about the characteristics of Fior di Latte Appennino campano and suggest its use, in the making of “home made” pizzas. On the same day, Tuesday, May 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the well-known face of Rai Uno, anchorman and writer Massimiliano Ossini will animate, together with brothers Antonello and Gaetano Sorrentino, a salon in which the characteristics and peculiarities of this important dairy company from Campania, now in its fifth generation, will be explored.
